Product Reviews:
  Very Forgettable ( academicromantic )
Before anyone jumps all over me I must admit that I LOVE Nalini Singh's writing; the world-building she has done with this Psy-Changling series is fantastic and the romance is normally very hot between some unforgetable characters. That being said, I wish I had never met Tally McKade and I had to force myself to forget her just to buy the next installment. Though she and Clay have a very intriguing backstory their present day romantic chemistry fizzled for me, mostly because of Tally's wishy-washiness; I kept thinking that Clay deserved better. And while we get a sense of what makes Clay's mind one that even Sasha would not want to crack, I'm not sure we know him very well by the end of the book and even he is hard to connect with on the level that we could a Lucas or a Vaughn. I'm not saying it's the most awful book I've ever read, Singh is too good of a writer, I am just saying that for people who love Sasha/Lucas, Faith/Vaughn, Tamsyn/Nate, (and even Dorian/Ashaya), Tally and Clay don't measure up as a romantic duo.
Great series - shame the heroine is a selfish brat
I REALLY like this series, the whole premise is incredibly interesting ..... BUT I just couldn't even really like this heroine, as other reviewers have said before me, she was selfish and immature (especially for a 28 year old) and extremely unlikeable. All in all I think Clay could have done so much better - I just couldn't help feeling sorry for him being saddled with her for life.
  Excellent ( varii )
I love the writing style of this author. I have devoured the first 4 books in this series and am about to begin number 5. It would be redundant for me to retell the story when several other reviewers have done a great job of summarizing it; however, there are a few things I would like to add.

First I am amazed at the thoroughness of Ms. Singh's character development. Each character is very unique, not cut and paste. She brings them to life and breaths a passion and intensity into each one that kept me turning the pages. I didn't want to put the book down.

It is rare to find truly unique new talent. I believe Ms. Singh is a must read for paranormal romance readers. My only fault would be with her proof readers/editors. The typos and faulty phrases are a bit distracting, but I feel sure that will change now that her talent is obvious.

  Don't miss these classics.
There were two books I ordered this week: Of course, one was "Mine to Possess" (Psy-Changelings, Book 4) by Nalini Singh and the other was "The Fates" by GE0RGIOU. Both books are highly recommended, but this review is for the first book I bought. Tally and Clay are a fun pair, full of life, fully developed characters the bring this story in the realm of 5-star romances. Nalini Singh is a master at making the reader share with the problems the characters suffer; we share in their joys; we share in their overall experiences, and we share their pain. Singh is also a master at revitalizing former characters to all their wondrous glory without bogging down the story by trying to fit them in. This is a great book with a refreshing storyline that all will want to read. I'd also highly recommend reading the latter book I mentioned "The Fates" by Georgiou, again, a book you don't want to miss. The Fates
  Wonderfully Realized World and Characters
I was excited to get the 4th full length novel in the Psy-Changeling series, so excited that I started it the very day I got it. From the first novel I read of Nalini Singh's I was totally enraptured by the world she had built, and the characters that inhabited it. The first in the series 'Slave to Sensation', followed by 'Visions of Heat' and 'Caressed by Ice' and now 'Mine to Posses'. Each effort brings us deeper into this world, expanding what we know, with the conflict fresh and ever-changing I'm still rooting for these Changelings & their mates.

Clay and Talin knew each other as children. Through tragedy, Clay lost his freedom and Talin. Many years later Talin seeks him out, looking for help. Looking again for the only friend she ever had. Clay's leopard immediately recognizes the need to claim, and Talin realizes that Clay is just as dangerous as he ever was....especially to her heart.

Nalini continues to build on the world, showing how favorite characters are progressing, and letting us see more of the Psy Council and their problems and dealings. She also introduces us to new characters that we can only hope to see more of. At the same time she doesn't give up anything in the main story between Talin & Clay.

This is a wonderful story, and a great addition to the Psy-Changeling series. I'm already anxious and excited for the next one.

Run and pick up this great series. The highly detailed world, and great love stories can not fail to impress. Nalini brings you into this richly imagined world, and makes you want to join in.
