Product Description
Rather than the 25 to 30 chapters found in most environmental science textbooks, the authors have limited "Principles of Environmental Science: Inquiry and Applications" to 15 chapters -perfect for the one-semester, non-majors environmental science course. True to its title, the goal of this concise text is to provide an up-to-date, introductory view of essential themes in environmental science along with offering students numerous opportunities to practice scientific thinking and active learning.

My Purchase
I was not satisfied, I never received that book but it was deducted from my account, and I was not happy. I also e-mailed the person I purchased it from and they never responded to the 2 e-mails I sent. Thanks

terrible
I ordered this book in late july and it is now mid september and I still have no book. I have tried contacting this compant and have gotten no where with it!! I will never purchase through amazon again. And in the above spot where I had to rate this review with a star, I couldn;t go on unless one was marked, I would have rated it ZERO.

College text
The price beats what most college bookstores charge. I always reccommend purchasing online it could cut the cost of the book in half. However if your going to purchase your college book online you should visit the college bookstore and find out what the instructor requires for the class a few weeks ahead of time so you dont get stuck paying for expedited shipping.

Lame as a required text
As this was a required textbook for my Environmental Science class last quarter, I didn't really have much choice as to which book we used - but this one, though the content was thorough, contained many typos. MANY. The Cunninghams need a better editor!

Good Textbook.
This textbook was a bit stuffy for me but it was still a good educational tool.
"Principles of Environmental Science" covers many environmental issues and problems that have been a part of the ES community for some time, as well as some issues that are newly developing. It takes a very global look at things and then brings it all together by helping the reader to truly understand the connection the reader has to this global environment.
